About Itzik
I was born in Eilat, the southmost city in Israel. I fell in love with photography at the age of 18, as I left Eilat and the desert area in favor of northern Israel when I joined the army. The green and wildlife-rich north made me want to forever commemorate it, so I grabbed my first camera, Pentax film, and started shooting photos.
I practice in a wide range of photography – Landscape, night and flora photography while specializing in bird photography. I participated in a few contests, taking first place in "Planet Arava" 2014. I am the photography curator of La Biennale Eilat – an event dedicated to modern art involving artists such as sculptors, painters and photographers from all around Israel. For the past 5 years I have been a guide at Eilat's photography club.
